Lesson Objectives:
* Differentiate between three states of matter
Relate the states of matter to the Kinetic-Molecular Theory of Matter
Classify a sample of matter as a pure substance or a mixture.
Distinguish between homogeneous mixtures and heterogeneous mixtures
Discuss different ways to separate mixtures and relate these to the physical properties of the components being used for separation
Label and produce particle drawings of the states and classes of matter
