All of these pages focus on reinforcement of the major concepts of the unit:
Scientific Methods
Classifying Matter
Physical and Chemical Properties & Changes
Density

There are five homework assignments included:
one ½ page assignment, 2 one page assignments, 2 two page assignments, and two assignments have honors and standard versions

A complete KEY is included for each homework page.

Objectives:
Compare the steps of the scientific method.
Describe the differences between qualitative and quantitative observations.
Compare and contrast hypothesis, scientific theory, and scientific law.
Differentiate between three states of matter.
Relate the states of matter to the Kinetic-Molecular Theory of Matter.
Classify a sample of matter as a pure substance or a mixture.
Distinguish between homogeneous mixtures and heterogeneous mixtures.
Differentiate between physical properties and chemical properties of matter
Differentiate between properties of matter and changes of matter
Differentiate between chemical changes and physical changes of matter
Using the density formula, calculate density, mass, and volume
Calculate volume of a regularly shaped object and an irregularly shaped object.
Convert units such as g to kg, and cm3 to m3 (honors)
Graph density
