I introduce the mole during my atomic structure unit. It has really helped to have students at least introduced and working with the mole when we get to stoichiometry. There is lots of room for your own notes. The suggested key includes some of the sayings that I use with my students. I have had more success presenting the mole as the “Heart of the Matter” than any other method. Students will gain so much value from these doodle notes that they will be proud of and use! The included teacher notes suggest many ways of incorporating doodle notes in you class, and includes an example suggestion for completing the doodle notes. For interactive notebooks—just print at 90%, and it will fit beautifully!
The notes have a good amount of blank space so you can adapt the notes to fit your needs.
Chemistry Doodle Notes!
